Purple Lounge sponsored player, Stefan Mattsson, is still very much in the WSOP main event in Las Vegas, finishing day 3 well in the top half of the field. Only 474 players are left now, out of nearly 7,000 who started the $10K buy-in tournament, and Stefan is in about 150th place. He holds 210,000 chips having taken a hit towards the end of the 3rd day with only a few hours to go – his chip stack had got to well over 300,000.

Whatever happens now Stefan will be guaranteed a cash prize, but we know his focus is solely on getting through the next 4 days and making the final table which will be fought out in November – we will of course keep you updated with how he gets on.
